So recently acquired my T4 and had a couple of minor irritations.
1: Developed a small chip on the edge of the SJ200.
Started out very gently and very slowly using an off cut of suede but that was taking forever.
So got some 1200g sandpaper and boom sorted it I'm minutes.
I've now done both edges.

2: The bump on honing wheel where the leather is joined was bugging me so again 1200g to the rescue.
Needless to say I'll be doing both these procedures with any new wheels in the future.

General Tormek Questions / T4 honing wheel
November 11, 2020, 11:30:23 AM
Hi all, have just recently got  T4 and have conditioned the leather honing wheel as per the instructions, however I can really notice the seam join while using it. It results in a bumpy feel.
Does this reduce with time or should I take some action to smooth it.
Cheers Pete
