Scissors Sharpening / Re: Curved grooming shears
March 17, 2019, 10:59:05 PM
I have sharpend my share of groomer and beautician  shears, each done on my Twice as .Sharp system , I have never done it on Tormeck , I see no problem doing groomers shears on Tormek, curve or not, but A big NO doing beautician shears on tormek, as they should be done on fine diamond and polished off burr.
Hope this helps.

Good grief, that has got to be a spoof, you want to build a burr  not grind the wall off the face. I had to laugh.

Knife Sharpening / Re: Knife restoration anyone?

Looks more of a hobby project, I skipped parts of the video, I didn't see him temper the blade after quenching, if he drops it it may break in a few pieces, for me I would have reshaped the blade, but hey good project for him.

I had ordered a package of 2, assuming it was medium and a fine, in which they came and it ended up being a pair of Medium grade, I think, as the writing is in Japanese, and the texture feels the same....
