General Tormek Questions / My Thoughts on SB250
July 07, 2012, 06:42:32 PM
I just used my New SB250 stone. What Jeff said was true. I had to find out for myself. Next time I will listen to Jeff. It did a nice job on knifes. But not as good as the White stone. On my chipper blades did better than the white stone. But you do have to use the grading stone more. The SB250 is a much harder stone for sure and will probably last longer. The white stone is going to be the all around stone for me.

General Tormek Questions / Best tool since
June 16, 2012, 11:56:38 PM
I have got to say, this is the best tool I have bought since my first Milwaukee Sawzall. And that was a long time ago.I have sharpened a couple of knifes for some friends and that led into a sample sharpening for a leading Eatery and  they where very happy with the result.

General Tormek Questions / Turn Table
May 20, 2012, 12:50:32 AM
This is one of the best accessories I have bought for the Tormek. It beats picking up the Tormek and a lot better than dancing around the stand and it is very stable and locks into either position.

General Tormek Questions / Chipper Blade
May 12, 2012, 08:53:24 PM
New Guy here from Pa. Now that I own a Tormek T-7  I would like  to sharpen my Wood Chipper Blade (About 5"X2"x1/4") on the Tormek. But the problem is the specs. clearly states 45 degree angle no Hollow ground. Is there a way or a Jig I can use to eliminate slight Hollow shape. Thanks in advance Tony
