Title: Flat bevel on the side of CBN/Diamond Wheels

Have anyone come up with a way to sharpen knives on the side of the wheel?

Wootz at Knife Grinders uses this approach in volume sharpening documented here (http://knifegrinders.com.au/05Equipment_volume.htm), so yes it works but you will have to devise a jig system.

Volume sharpening in a professional sharpening shop.  No jigs, just draw the blade across (however many times) and move on to the next grit size smaller.  Requires grit on both sides of the wheels, so cannot be done with Tormek wheels.  I do not know what has become of the system in Knife Grinders' shop.
