Picking up 1206

Now this is going to sound a really dumb question !
Can anyone out there tell me how i should pick up my new 1206, Is it ok to pick it up via the tool rest on a regular basis, Or should i put both hands under the whole unit/machine

Again, I know this question sounds dumb, But i just got my 1206 today and (Not being exactly flush with money) would like not to damage the machine by picking it up the wrong way ! (Not wanting to strain or bend something inside the unit)

Most of the active participants here are 2006 owners, rather than 1206 owners.  The 2006 has a handle.  I would not make a habit of picking up the machine by the Universal Tool Support.  If the Owner's Handbook does not have a suggestion, I would continue to pick it up by the base.
