SA-250 Universal Support

Hello!

I recently bought a used SA-250 with the intention of sharpening planer blades with the SVH-320 jig.

However, when I received the jig, I realized that it doesn't fit the support. My support is only 8mm, and the jig is 12mm.

Jeff Farris wrote the following in an earlier topic: "Everything is designed to be backwards compatible with any motorized Tormek".

What do I need to do to make my old machine compatible with the SVH-320 and the truing tool TT-50?

The SA-250 can be modified to accept the modern jigs by buying two sleeves with nuts to attach and locking knobs.  See parts 54, 55, and 56 on this page

The sleeves require two holes, 20mm in diameter and 90mm center to center.
