Jeff, have you developed a method for sharpening in-cannel gouges using the Tormek? TIA for any thoughts or suggestions.

It depends on the sweep and your freehand grinding ability.  If the sweep is broad enough, you can round over the corner of the grindstone with the coarse side of the stone grader and freehand the bevel across the radiused corner of the stone.
