Jeff,

I have a pair of scissors that look identical to the ones you sharpened in the video.  They are Fiskars.

They have what I can only describe as tapered bevels.  There are also releif bevels above the cutting surfaces which you wouldn't want to sharpen.  The cutting area on both sides start out thick at the base and taper off to almost nothing as they reach the tip.  Then the releif grinds are on top of the cutting edges.

I bought them at WalMart.  They were sold as fabric scissors.

I am wondering if your pair of Fiskars have these tapered bevels and if you just straight ground it or what?

If not how might one sharpen these?

Grind the cutting bevel only.  Once you have ground the scissors several times, and the relief bevel is getting small, regrind the relief bevel and then grind the primary bevel as normal.
