CBN cleaning

I have been sharpening for a while and transitioned to almost exclusively CBN wheels several years ago (following KG's suggestions RIP Vadim).
The wheels have loaded up -again.
I use water and light pressure yet I can see the pores filling (glazing) and effectiveness is dramatically reduced.
I sharpen mostly relatively high end kitchen and EDC knives (quality steel)
I have tried cleaning them with penetrant (PB Blaster) and a nylon bristle brush.
I am thinking of going totally to the dark side and trying some diamond wheels.
I am not a huge fan of the SG wheels, but they did start me down this rabbit hole.
I am open to any suggestions.
Thanks

I bought my CBN wheels from Vadim and haven't really had trouble with them loading up. The 1000 grit does a bit more than the coarser grits, I occasionally use one of those rubbery things that are designed to de clog belts and it works well.

Scotty,

Do you use an anticorrosion solution, either Tormek ACC or Honerite Gold? I would suggest ordering a bottle. Use it, noting the condition of your wheels. By the time you use up the bottle, you will have a good test sample and an answer to your question.

I have not used my CBN wheels since Tormek introduced "the dark side". My CBN wheels are 80 and 180 grit. With Honerite Gold and light use, I never noticed a problem with them. Nor have I noticed a problem with Tormek diamond wheels and ACC.

I like the idea of erasera and rubbery belt cleaners.

I've been cleaning my Tormek diamond grindstones mainly with a lint roller.

I'm using the Ikea ones with the tear off sheets, and just letting them roll against the dry diamond grindstone spinning on my T8.

They've worked pretty well so far, and I haven't encountered any adhesives transferring.
