I use one of those belt cleaning sticks for my CBN wheels and it works very well.  It's basically just a big gum rubber eraser. 

How often would you say you have to clean your CBN/Diamond wheels? I've noticed mine have accumulated some buildup that I can rub off.

I do it routinely after every couple of sharpenings because it only takes 10-20 seconds, but I think it would be fine to do it after five or 10.
