THERE IS A YouTube video showing set up for chisel on the side of diamond stone

Hi all,
I have a T7 and I invested in the new WM-200, SE-77 and multi-base when I purchased a DF-250 diamond stone. I bought it to grind on the side of the wheel.
I am new to the Tormek and wondered whether there are any set up videos taking you through using the angle master on the side of a diamond stone? I have put the chisel up towards the top of the diamond stone to give me the room for the 'to' part of the WM200. It seems very awkward and I'm sure there must be a better way. Can anyone please help?

EDIT: There is now a video, please see the last post in this thread for the details.

Hi Neil,

I also feel the MB-100 is quite shabbily treated in terms of instructions.

Here are some videos I found in the past, most of these are not typical instructional videos, especially with regard to the WM-200:

I have to admit that I don't use the MB-100 much, I think the ever so slight hollow grind is an advantage when finishing chisels or plane blades on waterstones.
Setting angles with the Sharpie method might work better on the side of the stone.

Hi Mike,

Thank you, I'll enjoy watching those later.

Edit: unfortunately, I'd already been through those videos.

Hey Neil,

I agree that Tormek is very far behind in its support of Diamond wheels in general, and in the MB-100.  I do not know of any videos - I will give the vids posted by Mike a look.  Tormek is typically  a very responsive company - they have always been right on top of things for any issue I have ever had.  However I emailed them regarding this very question about 4 or 5 months ago when I got my diamond wheels and bought the MB-100, and I have yet to get an answer.

Ken - can you give us any feedback why Tormek is niot supporting the MB-100 to the same standard they have other jigs.  It is a product they sell. I would expect them to pony up onthe support side of the house as weell.

I am not surprised that Tormek seems behind in its video support for the diamond wheels. Tormek has always made the premier wet grinding system. They are continually innovating. For some reason which baffles me, video support for most of the products has never been a priority. The DVD for woodturning tools is outstanding, as are Alan Holtham's videos. The recent online knife sharpening class is an excellent beginning. I hope this trend will continue.

I live in hope.

Hi Joe and Ken,
Thank you both for responding.
I have sent an email with my 'cry for help' to Tormek. I'll let you know if I get a response.

I sent my question to Tormek support on Monday evening and I heard back from them this morning(Thursday). I have sent another email with photos to try and explain my problem in more detail.  I'm impressed that support got back to me.

I'm pleased to say that the latest live sharpening class answered my query.
It is on a Tormek YouTube video, just search for Tormek live sharpening class part 3 and, if you don't want to watch all of the video, go to 50:50.
Thank you Wolfgang and Sebastien.
