When you have a bet tip. Advice?

Use whatever method you want to try and straighten it... when it snaps off, you can use the Tormek to grind in a new one. ;)  (That is probably what most likely will happen).

I LOVE IT!  It isn't a matter of IF, just a matter of WHEN.

I didn't respond initially, wanting to hear from others first.  It has only happened to me once, but then I have only tried to straighten a bent tip once :o

And, yes, the Tormek was most useful for grinding in the new tip.

Quality is like buying oats.  If you want nice, clean, fresh oats, you must pay a fair price. However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse, that comes at a lower price.
