"new in the box"

I see many Tormek products listed online as "new in the box". This is true, however, if the box in the photograph is yellow, that new tool has been in that box for at least five years, and maybe much longer. (I occasionally see these older yellow boxes at brick and mortar dealers. Generally they are lower traffic jigs and accessories.) Keep in mind that many of the jigs and accessories have been redesigned. Know what you are buying.
