svd-185 angle charts

Has anyone figured out all the possible angles and nail grinds from the svd-185 and the tts-100?  I am looking for a 40 degree angle with a setting of 4 or 5 for the finger nail.

It may be just me, however, I find the drawings difficult to use. It would be nice to have photos.

What is it you're trying to achieve from a turning perspective?
