Maintenance of the SP-650

I have owned my T7 for approx. 1 year & the stone grader is now looking very sorry for it's self. With the surface of the fine grader side now dished I am worried that it must damage the surface of the wheel rather than achieve it's desired purpose.
How do others maintain their SP-650
