Drill bit agnle including 6 facet cut

I'm still waiting delivery of my T7 and jigs, Was curious if anyone has considered the 6 facet cut?

Most of my work will be in metal so am looking to make a couple of "sets" for the differing metals

Thanks for posting that interesting article about drill bits.  I have printed out a copy and will also download in onto my ipad. (I have a download of the latest Tormek Handbook there, also.)

I am not familiar with six faceted drill bits. It will take a while to digest all that info.  I have used my DBS-22 infrequently.  Based on that, I would recommend beginning with the standard Tormek four facet grind. The jig is very versatile, far more than I require.  It does take some practice and finesse to do good work.  The work can be very good, but only with practice.

Once you become fluent with the four facet grind, go for whatever you want!
