I have just begun to make Windsor chairs and am loving using drawknives. I am finding some at flea markets and am wondering what is the best method of sharpening on the Tormek. Thanks for your suggestions.

As shown on page 121 of the Owner's Handbook, use the SVM-45 Regular Knife Jig in the center of the blade. The book recommends working with the wheel turning away from the edge (horizontal mount), and I agree. The exception is a badly damaged or neglected tool (typical flea market finds). In that case, I would work with the wheel turning into the edge for quicker reshaping of the tool.
