well that sounds amazing Mike....specially since it protected your LN from the burst pipe....thats the sort of thing they'd like to use in their advertising Im sure

I've had great results with the Boeshield product.

My table saw lives in a damp garage.  It has two large cast iron wings in addition to the cast saw top.  The product has has kept the surfaces perfect -- despite  friends inadvertently setting beer bottles on my baby.

I also have used it on saw blades.  It seems to have helped prevent pitch buildup.
