Having removed all visible screws that hold the motor to the housing, the motor will not come out of the housing.
I am just short of giving the shaft a good wack to see if it may pop out.
Any solutions / ideas?

The motor is mounted to the frame with a press fit pin. One end of the pin is bullet shaped and the other is splined. Tap the bullet shaped end with a hammer and then pull the pin out from the other side.

Now I have to find a new motor.
