Skewed chisels

Jeff, question on what jig to use for skewed dovetail chisels -- do I need the SVK-50 or can I just use the flat edge jig and turn the chisel to the correct angle by lining it up on a straight line drawn on the sharpening stone?

You got it.  Just skew the chisel in the SVH-60 or SE-76 until the end of the chisel is parallel to the stone, then set the angle.
