Delta 12 1/2 " planer blades

I have a Delta 12 1/2" planer and I talked to Jeff at The tool Show in Novi Mi. After I explaned the I couldn't grind my blades on a Tormex grinder, jeff Told me to pull the roll pin out of the fixture. This solves all the problem for length grinding. Perhaps we should listen to Jeff a bit more.  This saves me about $200 / year on blades. Thanks Jeff
