i Know i'm opening a old post. But it seems that the topic never gets old

I wonder if any that know how and what to do when starting, will/can record it when they break in a new wheel. As a foreigner i struggle to understand you guy's sometimes, it gets to be technical or to "slang".. see not even sure how to explain that.. BUT.. seeing it on a video speak the same language to all of us. So i hope that someone will record it next time. Phones now a days do a excellent job

Very nice fabrication, Jimmy.

Can you figure out how to make one of these that will clamp onto the scissors jig base instead of having to use screws?

So getting the ideers from you guys. and the having the possibilities at work i made my own.. Not all done. it needs surface electric galvanizing (i also have that possibility at work)
First go.. what do you think.. i also spared the Tormek erhh holder thingy, and made that from some hinges

Thanks for the inputs and help, perhaps i should just let the anglemaster go and use the marker on the knifes edge to show me the way. Not sure if that gave any meanint.. But i'm more ready now so you helped. thanks.

The tormek Wm-200 video is quite short and show how i can set it to a angle, but it fail to show how i find the angle already on the knife.. So looking at the manual page 145 it show that the knife need to go all the way down into the erhh bow gauge?. but most knifes have 2 bevels (if i got the teknical terms correct) so how do i find the angle there, because knifes won't fit into the anglemaster. Or i'm unabel to make it fit, or just to stupid to figur it out.

How do you guy's do it. or what do you do when sharpening knifes?..

Thanks in advance.. and please.. make it simple.. lots of pictures ehh ;)
