I'm guessing the new product launch email I just got is related to this.

Ken your solution is so easy and simple.

Amazon has the SJ-250 20% off so I decided to get it. I normally use CBN wheels and use HoneRite in my water to keep from rusting the knives or the wheels. Will the HoneRite damage the Japanese wheel? For convenience I'd like to avoid changing out water between wheels.

I love this. Nice work!

The screws are far enough back they don't get in the way of my blade. I followed your guidance on the forum or in your video? and beveled the back side of the plate. The big mistake I made was centering the diving board. I'm going to use this one for the buffing wheel and make another one that is left justified for the grind wheel.

$50? I'm amazed. I was expecting it to be a lot more. This is the same company that charges $80 for a rubber mat after all.

I can't wait to order one.

I bought the scissor jig platform and a variety of aluminum and stainless steel plates in 2"x4" and different thicknesses. Looking forward to making my own!

It seems like it should be straight forward to create a knife jig like the T-2 uses that would work on the T-8. This would save a lot of time when sharpening multiple knives in a single session.

I'm sure the T-2 jig isn't out of the box compatible with the T-8 but I'm sure they could design a similar jig that would work.

Anyone hear anything new on a Tormek version of this? Will they be releasing it?

Quote from: John_B on March 09, 2024, 11:48:46 PMThis knife according to the description appears flexible. I would use the KJ-140.

Thank you!! I'll order it today. Is there a particular vendor people like over the others?

I just bought this knife: https://bernalcutlery.com/products/copy-of-new-vintage-canadian-15cm-6-chef-carbon-rosewood-50s

It's 14.5" long. Will the normal knife jig work or do I need the bigger one?
