I just bought this machine and made some test runs and i've noticed this gritty rattling sound.
I have checked the bolts, turned the shaft by hand, checked if the fan is touching something, looked for loose stuff that's rattling. I pinpointed the sound from coming inside the motor, shaft side, pressing against it or moving it makes no difference.
I'm in the process of deciding wether to return the machine, just wondering if this is normal? Or is it clear something is wrong with the unit? It does not seem to go away, i had the machine running for maybe an 1hr just to check stuff.
Support on the website where i bought it couldn't tell and just advised me to return the machine, tormek support hasn't answered yet either.
