I had the same issue with slippage until I adjusted the support height slightly and rechecked the grinding angle with the marker method. Also realized subtle pressure differences can throw things off. I keep a small spreadsheet next to my Tormek now with angles and jig settings for repeatability. I sharpen tools for building Retaining Walls, so getting a reliable edge fast matters a lot to me.
