Thank you, I checked all three.  There are files for lots of 3D parts and jigs for the Tormek.  But I'm just looking for 2D profiles that I can carve into sheets of a soft material to cushion and secure the accessories in boxes.

It would be easy to print such images then use the paper print-out as a template.  Or I could also use a drag knife on a CNC to cut precisely.

Rolsen showed I'm mistaken:  Tormek does sell the cases without the tools (my store said they don't, but I should have checked Tormek's site).  That said, I could fit the tools in my own cases without cushions that I make.  If diagrams don't already exist, the simplest solution is to buy Tormek's cases.

Thank you again!

General Tormek Questions / Storing Tormek tools
March 29, 2025, 01:32:18 AM
I want to make fitted inserts for boxes to hold my Tormek attachments.  The company makes great boxes with fitted inserts, but I already have the tools.  (They don't sell the inserts separately).

Has anybody made diagrams with the contours of Tormek pieces?  I can trace mine, but if there are tried & tested versions, they'll surely be better than mine.  Formats like .pdf or .jpg would work, but .dxf would be even better.  I wrote to Tormek to suggest this, but received no reply.
