ha ha..........in the end  :P...........axminster stocked the nylon bearing, but not listed on there web-site as its a spare part...

Thanks Rob tried D&M very helpful put don't do spares. They put me on to Brimarc and had confirmation from them that the Nylon Bearings bushes for the T3 (1200) and T7 are the same! Part number 21110347 in the UK. Thanks for everyone's help! Parts ordered and soon I'll have very sharp tools again!!!!

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the lead. I can get replacement axle bushes for the T7 but not the 1200 (T3) maybe they fit both?

Thanks for your reply I'm in the UK but replies from the USA are greatly appreciated! I removed the shaft and it is corroded. I will order the stainless steel one and a few spare bushes. Do you grease your shaft - I have read that a few people use silicone based grease - would you recommend that?

Hi Everyone!
Please help. My old tormek 1200 has axle play. It moves up and down and I am unable to truin the grindstone. The play seams to come from two insufficient plastic washers that the axle sits in. The axle itself looks fine.
1. Are these replaceable?
2. If Not would replacing the axle fix the problem. As I believe it comes with these washers.

Please help I've just spend loads of cash buying jigs for this machine which is one of the first models!
