This heavy duty chisel is pretty big and it does not fit in any of the jigs.  The gouge has the same diameter as 1 1/2" PVC.

I use it in place of and Adz to hollow out bowls.

Don't dump down the drain.  The sludge can harden like cement.  Put it in a old soda bottle or milk carton and give to the trash man.

I had a thought today.  I was wondering if I could make a jig using PVC pipe.  Does anyone have any thoughts?  I need some guidance related to the essentials for a gouge jig.

Does anyone have a recommendation on how to sharpen a hook knife?

I need some help.  What is the best way to sharpen a Pfeil #9/50 heavy duty gouge?
