which jig would you use to sharpen curved edge garden loppers? The edge looks like it is beveled at a 20 degree angle

General Tormek Questions / Skewed chisels
April 18, 2010, 12:36:11 AM
Jeff, question on what jig to use for skewed dovetail chisels -- do I need the SVK-50 or can I just use the flat edge jig and turn the chisel to the correct angle by lining it up on a straight line drawn on the sharpening stone?

Jeff, I have read (on other sites) other woodworkers who complement the Tormek sharpening process by ending with honing their tools on +4000 grit or higher oilstones or diamonds for the ultimate edge. Would you recommend this process or is it overkill?
