I purchased a T2 recently and was surprised at how loud it was since I had watched youtube videos of others that were very quiet.
I've uploaded my own 14 second video to youtube and was wondering if any of the T2 owners here could let me know what they thought.

I would put the grinding wheel on, and make sure everything is tightened down, then see how it sounds. If it's still loud, email Tormek Support (support@tormek.se) and see what they say.
(BTW, if you run it without the grinding wheel the shaft can come out).
Ah yes - I forgot I had the diamond wheel off for the video. It sounds the same with it on, the place I bought it said to take it off and let them know if it still sounded loud.
