Title: Suggestion Revisited
Post by: Byron on March 24, 2005, 04:32:02 AM
I promised that I would post the results of making a lazy susan to turn the tormek around for different grinding needs.  I just finished it today and it works very well.  Now I don't have to lift the machine and at the same time spill water! :P  If you are interested, email me.

Byron:

I did the same thing on my Tormek. Installed a wooden
peg that I use to hold the turntable when it reaches the
desired location. Found it saves a lot of liftiing and
spilling of water.

Found the turntable at Home Dept and it has been
working great for over a year. I made certain to get the
largest they had. Not for weight but more for stability.
I mounted it to a sheet of heavy plastic (no rusting or
water damage) and then set the Tormek on top.

This makes it easy to move, and easy to store the two
parts seperately if I want.

Best regards,

Rick
