Title: Supergrind 2000 start-up direction
Post by: Lumberjack on September 07, 2004, 08:58:13 PM
I have a 92-93 supergrind 2000 that when switched on will sometimes start in the correct direction and sometimes in the "wrong" direction.  It sometimes won't turn at all requiring a slight "nudge in the correct direction to get it going.
Anyone else experience this?  Not sure if it's the starter capacitor or if it's an internal problem.
Thanks,
Lumberjack

Sounds like you need to change the starting capacitor.  Call us.

I have the same problem. I discovered that the start capacitor had actually ruptured. I'm going to replace it.

GOFG,

As a fellow grumpy old fart, I like your forum name.

I suspect the problem is your capacitor. However, to be more certain, I suggest you email support with a description for expert advice. (support@tormek.se)
