Title: Bouquets
Post by: Tornatus on September 09, 2009, 07:30:57 AM
G'day Jeff

I'm a newbie T-7 owner from Down Under, and signed up for this forum as part of the registration process.  I just wanted to offer my compliments on the value of this forum and your very timely advice - in reading over the first few pages of turning tool posts, I have already come across the answers to two problems of mine!  Thanks to you, I now know how to sharpen my round skews, and my "pyramid" point tool.

Any suggestions for the best way to sharpen that funny French tool, the Bedan?

Thanks for the kind words.

The Bedan is very easily sharpened using the SE-76 Square Edge Jig, which comes standard with the T-7.  Check the book in the TNT-300 for details.  It's also briefly demonstrated in turning video.
