My RB-180 is a bit rough to rotate. I tried cleaning it, but that was only a marginal improvement. I think it needs to be lubricated. My first guess would be to use white lithium grease, but am wondering what others may be using?
I use WD-40 for mine and it work great. It's easy to apply, easy to clean and it doesn't collect dust as much as grease does.

This is what I would use. Very sticky and would not need reapplying all the time as much as a lighter product.
