I have been trying to find out the Tormek RPM speed without success. I was told by my master craftsman woodworking instructor to seek out a hollow grind system with an RPM of 1700 or slower. He thinks the Tormek spins too fast. Any comments from anyone out there regarding this? He made his own from an old refrigerator motor. I would prefer not to have to go this route.
