Title: pen turning tools
Post by: log2lumber on July 07, 2008, 07:22:42 AM
Hello,

My pen turning tools are too short to fit properly in the jigs (skew, parting tool, spindle gouge).

Any ideas.

I have been eyeballing the angle and getting close.  However, I spend a too much time regrinding a bit each time.

The handbook included in the TNT-300 Woodturners Instruction Box includes some advice on small tools.  There and in the standard handbook you will find that small skews can be done with the SVS-50 with the open seat (vee block) instead of the closed seat.
