Title: New SVS-50
Post by: Hawk on January 22, 2007, 07:32:19 PM
I picked up the new TTS-100 and in the instruction book found that there is a new SVS-50 that has a shorter and angled head.  Does the new one work better and rather than buy a new one, can the head be ground off?

Thanks,

Hawk

The only advantage to the shorter, angled closed seat is that it can accommodate shorter skews. If your skews work in the longer seat, I would leave it alone.  If you have had issues with the seat being too long, the aluminum extrusion cuts very easily.
