Title: water trough
Post by: RJ on December 03, 2006, 12:54:34 PM
At first I thought it was normal to have some water after sharpening.
Then I noticed that it weeps water out the bottom even before I sharpen anything. I cannot see any cracks and it is so new I have even dropped it yet.
What do I do next? Seems when it is new this should not be normal?

Are you sure that you are not overfilling the tray?  It has a cutout behind the stone that exactly matches the maximum water line.  If you exceed that, it will flow out of the tray on the inside.

Take the tray off the machine, fill it and check for leaks.  If the tray is actually leaking, call us or send me an e-mail and we'll send you a replacement.
