Are you referring to the CATRA? Here is one site:

I believe the only one site where you cab buy a Catra Laser Protractor is in UK.
I bought one in this web and all was perfect.

They make international shipping but I don't know what about GST...

Regards

Jan made a laser goniometer using an kid's erector set. The instructions are here :

Nice, simple, & very inexpensive option.

Kind regards,
Rich

Hello, maybe this will help you. https://sharpeningtool.eu/en/catalog/accessories (https://sharpeningtool.eu/en/catalog/accessories) Write your address on e.kuligin@vetako.cz and we will inform you the cost of delivery. At the moment, the calculation of shipping costs automatically only for EU countries. For other countries, the calculation is individual.

That Vetako looks nice.
I was unaware of it when I purchased my CATRA goniometer (Hobigon), but I can see one improvement with the design of the Vetako already ... which is that it will easily accommodate a much "taller" knife than the CATRA will.

My CATRA works just fine, but the Vetako looks like an excellent value.

I bought that Vetako the other day. It arrived very quickly. (well, Germany is not that far from the Czech Republic  ;))
So far I'm very happy with it. It really helps with knives that you sharpen for the very first time, and sometimes is also useful for analyzing the results.

I also received the Vetako a few days ago. Works fine, very clear readout.

I just ordered the Vetako a few days ago.
They're in the Czech Republic.
I'm in California.

I'm anxious to get it and put it to use.

I started using laser goniometer with the DIY version DILAGON 2.0 described by Cyrano in http://bessex.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=338&page=2. Very easy to build as you don't need a curved screen. The angle scale is calculated for a flat area. To hold the small laser I used a pipe clamp.

A year ago I purchased the Vetako Goniometer Pro+, a very nice instrument. My only criticism is the missing manual, but the basic operation is self explaining.
