Wondering if anyone has ever seen or considered making an extended water tray/pan to allow lowering the pan but not having to remove the pan from the Tormek to change out different wheels. Seems a wider expanded pan would allow changing the wheels without a balancing act of removing the tray/pan each time.
Good thought, although I doubt it. The practical expedient is to use a turkey baster (a forum idea, but not mine), remove most of the water, remove the water trough, change the wheel, replace and refill the water trough. Using the turkey baster and a plastic peanut butter jar is quicker to do than to read the instructions.
