Title: Can SJ make micro bevel?
Post by: Sharpco on November 14, 2017, 02:21:30 PM
If I sharpen 15 degrees with SG and then honing it at 16(or 17) degrees with SJ, will the tool have a 16 degrees micro bevel?

Yes... but most microbevels are 3°-5°. higher... not 1°.

Sharpco,

You have an SG and an SJ; try it. At the risk of continuing to sound like an old chiseler, micro bevels are easy to see with chisels. Time for your practice knives!
