Title: How to sharpen a 80 degree angled tool
Post by: marpol83 on January 26, 2016, 02:28:06 AM
How do I sharpen an 80 degree angled hollowing tool?  When I try to set it up in a SVD-185 I cannot find settings to allow me to sharpen the edge.  The tool I am trying to sharpen is from Penn State Industries and is part of the 3 piece hollowing tool set, #LCHOL3.

Hi,
I have not sharpened a tool like that before but I think you might be able to sharpen it using the SVS-38.
Having the universalsupportbar close to the stone would probably make it work.

Sincerely,
