This machine looks a lot like the Tormek .... alot like it! Is there any relationship here?

Scheppach was the TORMEK distributor in Germany for many years. For reasons that I don't want to discuss, the relationship dissolved. Scheppach introduced this rather poor copy of the TORMEK a couple years ago in Europe. It has received a cool reception there. The stone is not the same quality, the drive mechanism is not as efficient or powerful as the TORMEK, and the 8 inch stone has a much shorter life.

Thanks Jeff ... I was wondering if there was something like that going on. Since it appears that Amazon is bringing that brand in over the Tormek perhaps you will see more business. Well I for one hope so!
