Title: Which jig(s)?
Post by: richinva on December 11, 2005, 05:29:21 AM
Which jigs to use with which tools?

1/8" and 1/4" spindle gouges, 1/8" parting tool, 1/4" round nose scraper, and 1/4" skew chisel.  Also my 3/4" roughing gouge.

Do I need two different jigs?

Thanks.

Rich

1/8" and 1/4" Spindle Gouge = SVS-50 for a straight grind or the SVD-185 for a fingernail grind.

1/8" parting tool, 1/4" skew, and 3/4" roughing gouge = SVS-50

round nose scraper = SVD-110
