Title: Truing of the Stone Grader
Post by: GaryOW on December 06, 2013, 09:37:15 PM
Hello all,
Just joined the forum group. Hello all! Here's my question- I've been using my T-7 for some time now sharpening just about everything I own that has an edge and I've noticed that I have created some pretty deep unevenness on the faces of my stone grader. I'm not sure if I am pressing too hard, not moving the grader enough, etc. but what is the best way to "true up" my grader? Thanks for your responses!

Gary

Do not true your grader. Particularly on the smooth side, it is much more effective once the arc of the stone is cut into it.
