Title: Indian Rosewood...really need sharp tools for this

First time I've ever turned this exotic and beautiful hardwood.  I've seen it many times on the backs of guitars but just recently acquired a turning blanc.

It was as hard and brittle as nails and was extremely glad of the tormek right by my side :-)  I've included a pic next to some native English "blonde wood" species like oak and horse chestnut....just to show the contrast.  Its like chocolate....I love it
