Title: Difference between US-103 and US-105
Post by: HerrHedeblom on June 03, 2012, 01:07:01 PM
Hello!

I am upgrading my 1200 with a few things, one being a new universal support.
I figured the US-103 was the way to go, but a big Swedish reseller has the US-105 listed as a spare part for the T-3 as well as the T-7.

So my question is: What's the difference between the two?

The US-105 will fit a 1200, but it will allow a tool in the SE-76 jig to slip off the edge of the grindstone before it hits the stop. You need the US-103 if you are going to use the stop.

Lovely!

Since I already ordered the 105 this was great news. Thank you!

OK!

I got the US-105, but I thought that it was bundled with a horizontal base. So I ordered the BGM-100 to get both a US-105 and the XB-100. However, I got no instructions on how to properly fit the base on my 1200.

Where can I find such instructions?

You can find them right here:

http://tormek.com/international/en/spare-parts/

Go to the XB-100 listing and the link to the instructions is at the end of the description.
