Regarding the T-7: Does anyone have any neat ideas for marking your wheel for grinding angles?

I don't believe my method is neat or anything, for me is practical and gives me the best precision I need.
The way I do it is: I lower the universal support a hair thread from the stone, lay a 6" rule (a thicker one that I know is straight) perpendicular on the stone with its back fully rested on the universal support and I hold it there with one hand then I draw a thin line with a sharp pencil at the edge where the rule contacts the stone. That way I get a perfect thin line to adjust the tool for the angle.

I'm not quite sure what you mean.  Would you please explain your question a bit more?
