Title: Alternate use for left wheel on T-7
Post by: kg4jix on August 28, 2010, 06:03:05 PM
I am preparing to start a mobile sharpening business, and am planning to use the T-7.  I may also have another tool that will provide a similar function to the leather honing wheel.  Will a water trough fit on the left side, and will the grinding wheels fit on that spindle?  Are there any other problems of which I should be aware?

Thanks,
randy.

The drive mechanism makes it impossible to use water on the honing wheel side of the machine. The honing wheel uses an offset hub design to center the honing surface over the drive tire. This would be impossible with a grindstone.
