Title: Sharpening garden loppers

which jig would you use to sharpen curved edge garden loppers? The edge looks like it is beveled at a 20 degree angle

Are they bypass or anvil? In bypass, the blade is beveled on one side and flat on the other and the other half of the pruner is not sharpened. The blade slices by the other side, hence the name "bypass". Use the scissors jig on the blade and clean and lap the other part (sorry, don't know the technical name for it).

Anvil pruners have a blade that cuts into a flat support (the "anvil"). They are usually sharpened on both sides, like a knife. Most are removable from the loppers, and can be sharpened with the knife jig.
